Dice rolls are skewed

Ive been playing this for awhile. Im the white pips and my husband is the black pips. His rolls are so very skewed in his favor. Every single time I have any pips uncovered, he majically gets what he needs to bump me off. If I every finally manage to bump his off, even if only one space is available for him to get out, he gets that roll. Not for me though. If I get bumped off, I can kiss the game goodbye, because all I will roll are the combinations that are already covered by his pips. Our running game total score is Me 12, Him 35. When we play on standard backgammon set, I beat him more often than not. I will be purchasing a different backgammon game.
